Edmonton, Alberta — For more than a decade, OneSoft Solutions Inc. operated at the intersection of machine learning and pipeline safety. The company's flagship product, Cognitive Integrity Management (CIM), leveraged Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and advanced predictive analytics to help North American and international pipeline operators reduce risk and optimize maintenance spending.

The CIM platform ingested data from multiple in-line inspection (ILI) runs, integrating corrosion growth models, fracture mechanics, and machine learning algorithms to deliver a comprehensive view of pipeline health. By automating much of the analysis that was traditionally performed manually, CIM enabled operators to identify high-risk segments faster and allocate maintenance budgets more effectively.

The development of the CIM platform involved close collaboration with pipeline operators, academic researchers, and technology partners. OneSoft's relationship with Microsoft was particularly significant, as the company leveraged Azure's cloud computing capabilities to process large volumes of ILI data and deliver results through a web-based interface accessible to integrity engineers worldwide.
